About these guidelines
These guidelines are the controlled source for the HCC logo and Halal Conformity Mark. They exist so that certified organisations and partners reproduce the mark correctly and consistently. This is a controlled version and may not be copied or redistributed without HCC's permission.
Use of the mark on certified products is additionally governed by the Use of HCC Halal Conformity Mark & Logo Policy.
Logo files & formats
HCC provides the official mark in vector (SVG) and raster (PNG) formats for print and screen. Always reproduce the mark from the files HCC supplies — never redraw, re-trace, or screenshot it. To request the current artwork pack, contact HCC at info@halalcc.org.
Clear space & minimum size
Keep a margin of clear space around the mark, free of other logos, text, or graphics, so it reads cleanly. Do not reproduce the mark below its minimum legible size; if a certificate identifier accompanies the mark, it must remain readable at the chosen size.
Color & background rules
Reproduce the mark in its approved colours. Place it on backgrounds that preserve contrast and legibility, and use the approved reversed version on dark backgrounds. Do not recolour the mark, apply gradients or effects to it, or place it on a busy background that reduces legibility.
Do / Don't
Do: use the supplied files, respect clear space and minimum size, and keep the mark within the certified scope. Don't: alter, stretch, rotate, or recolour the mark; combine it with other marks so its meaning changes; or use it on out-of-scope or non-Halal products or after a certificate ends.
Downloading the mark
The plain-text guidelines below summarise these rules for reference. Certified organisations can obtain the current logo pack — vector and raster artwork — by contacting HCC at info@halalcc.org. HCC controls distribution of the artwork so that only correct, approved files are in circulation.
