HCCHCC
Partners & recognition

A worldwide network
of Halal authorities.

HCC cooperates directly with national Halal authorities and coordination bodies. Through that network, an HCC certificate is recognized in the destination markets your product ships to — reaching 180+ markets in all.

Reach through the network

Two distinct things, never conflated.

HCC holds direct cooperation agreements with a network of partner bodies. Recognition in any given export market flows through that network — it is never claimed unilaterally. We keep the two ideas separate on purpose: the partners HCC works with, and the markets a certified product reaches as a result.

Group A · Partner network

The national Halal authorities and coordination bodies HCC has a direct cooperation agreement with.

Group B · International recognition

The destination-market authorities whose markets HCC-certified product reaches through that network.

How recognition works

From cooperation agreement to a market your product can enter.

01

Cooperation, established

HCC enters a direct cooperation agreement with a national authority or coordination body, aligning scheme criteria and audit expectations.

02

Certificate, issued & published

HCC certifies the manufacturer and publishes the certificate on the public registry — scope and status open for any partner or regulator to confirm.

03

Market, reached

Because the issuing body is recognized within that network, the certified product is accepted in the destination market it ships to.

Is HCC accredited?

The legitimacy question, answered plainly.

The most common thing a new buyer asks is whether an HCC certificate is real and recognised. Here is the honest version.

HCC's standing rests on two things it can show, not a single badge. First, direct cooperation agreements with national Halal authorities and coordination bodies — including SMIIC (the OIC standards institute), the World Halal Food Council, and the International Halal Center, alongside national partners across Asia, Africa, and South America. Second, a public certificate registry: every certificate HCC issues is posted at verify.halalcc.org for anyone to check. We are deliberately precise about this — recognition in any given market runs through that partner network, and we never claim to hold every national accreditation ourselves.

Through the partner network, an HCC certificate is recognised in the markets those partners cover — including bodies such as JAKIM (Malaysia), BPJPH (Indonesia), MUIS (Singapore), EIAC and MoIAT (UAE), GAC (the GCC accreditation centre), and SFDA and the Saudi Halal Center (Saudi Arabia). HCC also works to the OIC/SMIIC 1:2019 international Halal standard, which is built on food safety and end-to-end traceability. If a market you supply has a Halal acceptance requirement, tell us and we can usually point to the route.

Every HCC certificate carries a number you can look up yourself at verify.halalcc.org — no account, nothing to install. Enter the number and you see the scope, status, and validity in seconds. That is the whole point of a verification-first body: a buyer, importer, or customs officer never has to take anyone's word for it.

It can be, through the partner network, for the destination markets that network reaches. There is no single government Halal stamp in the United States the way there is for organic — a Halal claim is only as credible as the certifier behind it and the recognition it carries into a market.
